Four Distinct Types Of Water Jets You Could Have In Your Backyard Fountains
Because you are looking for backyard fountains, you are probably wondering what different kinds there are out there. Well, you will find types that are essentially like bird baths, but also still circulate the water around to prevent it from going stale. And you will find types that have jets of water coming out. There are many different kinds of water jets, but here we are going to discuss 4 of them specifically.

Fountains with Tiered jets:

- this is where there are several levels of water jets coming from the fountain. There will be more than 1 level to this fountain, occasionally seen with three or 4 basins each shooting jets of water into the bowl below it. Of course the final basin is just to hold the water, and allow it to go back up, and start the sequence over again.

A Geyser Fountain:

- this produces an upward jet of water, that usually doesn't go very high, and appears somewhat like white water rapids. This will either be in a fountain, or a backyard water pond as well. For the fountain style they will usually not run very high up, and will ordinarily come from the center of the basin to allow the water to stay inside.

Water Bell Fountains:

- this type of feature generates what looks like a single wide stream of water that come up from the center of the fountain, and fall outwards into a bell shape made from the water. It essentially has a pretty cool look, and are quite common in malls and shopping centres. However, they do make smaller ones intended for the backyard garden

Domed Water Fountains:

- this type of fountain is much like the bell fountain, except that it uses several different jets of water coming from the middle of the fountain and shoot upwards and outwards creating a dome effect with various jets of water. Almost like a domed cage if you will.

So there you have it, 4 different kinds of water jets shooting from your backyard fountains. What type is for you? Well, only you can really decide that. It really all will depend on what you will enjoy viewing while you are in your backyard. Or the style you want your garden to take on. The list can go on and on. But ultimately, it will be truly your choice.
